Gary shows you how to retune your pinpointer. When metal detecting, you can re-calibrate the Pinpointer by briefly pressing the button while away from any metallic source. On mineralized ground and salt water, it is advised to re-calibrate while in contact with the ground. To obtain a precise target location, re-calibrate near to the object, the detection zone will now be reduced.

Brilliant, I’m going to buy the master. This is the clearest video I’ve seen, thanks so much. One noob question: if I use the puck on the stem does that mean the headphones won’t work? Sorry if that’s a stupid question, just trying to learn 👍
Since I'm gonna say no. Even though it has a solid number, you say you are in a high trash area so I say no. loud and double beep
Superb advice matey
А звук какой?Громкость?
Yep
My suggestion is to take a ring, coins you like to find, maybe some jewelry and bury each one in the sand and make notes of the numbers for each. Also, see what a pull tab or even a beer can and check those numbers. I also suggest you buy a hand sand scoop, makes for a better beach hunt!
Please, could you ask for an upgrade that would allow us to use our x35 elliptical coil with the deus 2.The tekkna program would be a beast on iron loaded sites with this coil. You could exclude the dive program to protect your liabilities.I have a $600 coil I can’t use to it’s full capabilities at the moment, would love see what it’s truly capable of,married to the deus 2!!!
have you been to Ireland to look for oldest stuff
please ear me out! we need a waterproof shell for the ws6 for thos who dont dive but are in water! just to waterproof the puck. and with the same attachment so i can connect it on my stem
I got the deus m16 pinpointer great value for money .can change the sen on the remote nice. From cloudy Cornwall 😊
I'm new to the deus but I've been detecting since 2008. I started with the V3i which was a very programmable detector for it's day. I switched to an equinox 800 for a couple years but hated you really couldn't dial it in much. The deus 2 is the detector I've been waiting for! I loaded your program and tweaked it for the carolina beaches. I have to say it does go very deep and works fantastic in the iron on the beaches here. I love the audio response up higher since this thing runs very quiet. You can tell how deep something is based on the pinpoint volume. Great job on the program Merrill and thanks for the videos that helped me find the deus.
The "Answer" video is online. Find out if you identified the right target.
Yes. It's a very clean signal and easy to pinpoint. Probably trash but I would dig it.
Hi Merrill and Merrill This question is for either Merril the Merrill that records the videos or the Merrill that talks about Merrill in the videos 😂😅 Can the simplex plus have an update that turns it into a spontaneous multifrequency detector or is that a hardware thing thanks and hi from Puerto Rico Would love to Hunt in the salt water but the simplex plus gets scared and starts to cry 😢
Have a great time
Yes I would dig it a solid 62 is most likely a square pull tab especially with it sounding “tinny”. Could be a gold ring also though.
Thanks for your guess
Xp deus 2 vs manticore ?
A big Hello and a Yorkshire Narrrr Then from us both in the UK Maria 🍀
J ai fais une belle fibule a 42 avec un son pas terrible. Ecouter bien et creusé ! Defois ont est surpris !
Yes there is a double tap and even if it has that can tone , I am too curious. Also I pickup trash as I detect
Very good initiative
After 15 days the app craps out on you and there is no way to subscribe???? Not worth the energy to play around with it.
I'd definitely dig that. Last gold ring rang up around there, but it could be a nickel, as well.
Thanks for your participation
Are people aloud to bbq on the beach in the US of A? If so, i guess it is one of those instant BBQ’s
I'm on my 1 millionth hole ...of course
😉
Yes! The tone is sharp and I don't feel it is larger than a pulltab. It may be a ring!
Thanks for your participation
It's something with iron and on the surface. I think it's not round, but has length. Some overload to my mind To My opinion 😂. Usually I dig it by my shoes first of all...
Thanks for watching!
If it's deep yes
Shallow pulltab ? Gotta dig everything on the beach regardless.
Good guess
you have to dig the 62's they may be some thing good its only the iron tone i dont dig , but what if you get a mixed tone would you dig it
I would
I'd dig it because I'm a nutter for a nickel
I have a sand scoop and who knows , he might have dropped his ring in there too
Who knows indeed! The beach is full of surprises!
@MetalDetectingNYC I got a big fat 77 on the D2 and that's never a good sign until you pull a 7 gram gold ring 1.5" deep
I dig everything, so of course.
Nice
No
I never use pwm tones.kinda sounds like a can though.
I have a m16 pinpointer worth every penny I found a 22kt ring in the wet sand. With the great deus11 😊
Yes
If targets were scarce I would but after a while you know its a can. If theres a ton of them I'd pass.
I highly disagree here.
@@lloydjones9401 Have you detected on the NYC island famous known for the worlds largest landfill?
@IndianaTones No I have not, but I hunt a park that is loaded with pull tabs, and 90% of the time that signal is a nickel. If in doubt, I swirch to pitch tones and can usually tell straight away of it's round or not.
I want that tractor!
Yes, because with that big of a signal, it could be masking something else 😎
Thanks for your comment
Yep I would dig it. Sounds like a silver or gold chain. Or b a big blob of foil lol
Thank you for your suggestion
I got the deus pinpointer the great m16 its worth every penny when working with the remote. Ps i did find a small 22kt ring with the beach program using 2 tones in wet sand .from cloudy Cornwall 😊
I did find a 22 kt ring on the wet sand .with the deus 11 On beach 2 tones 😊
Love your videos Gary. I’m looking forward for more in the future.
👍
Hi Gary, thanks for taking us with you. I’ll be watching… John
Thanks John
Extremely good video, talking slow, well explained ! Thumbs up !!
The Deus 2 needs an hf coil to detect gold, then I will immediately sell my Deus 1 and buy a Deus 2. 45 kHz is too low for detecting small jewelry.
i got my simplex there
Very cool. Looking forward to being able to offer these to our customers soon!
Thank you!
I would have wished an inherent compatibility mode between the Deus 2 RC and the Deus 1 coils and wireless headsets.
